Ingredients | Ground Beef Recipes Mexican Style1 (16 ounce) package Johnsonville® Italian Ground Mild, Sweet or Hot Italian Sausage1 pound lean ground beef1 medium onion, chopped3 celery stalks, diced3 garlic cloves, minced3 (14.5 ounce) cans diced tomatoes with green peppers and onions2 (16 ounce) cans kidney beans, rinsed and drained1 (14.5 ounce) can beef broth1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste2 tablespoons brown sugar2 tablespoons chili powder1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce2 teaspoons ground cumin½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakesShredded Cheddar cheesesour creamchopped onionsDirectionsIn a Dutch oven, cook sausage and ground beef over medium heat until meat is cooked and browned; drain. Stir in onion, celery and garlic. Cook and stir until tender. Add tomatoes, beans, broth, tomato paste, sugar, chili powder, Worcestershire sauce, cumin and red pepper flakes.Bring to a boil; reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
